Wrong Alibi is the first in a new series, Murder in Alaska, written by Christina Dodd. If you’re looking for a new mystery series with a colder climate, then this is one worth checking out!
Everyone deserves a second chance, right? That is exactly what Evelyn Jones is looking for. When the opportunity to move to a remote location in Alaska came up, she took it with both hands. It was perfect at the time.
That is until everything came falling down around her. Her second chance suddenly is looking more like a setup, which is the last thing she needed in her life right now. Unfortunately for her enemies, this is a woman willing to bide her time and get that revenge.
Wrong Alibi is truly a twisting tale, one that will cause readers no end of fascination as they try and work their way through the mystery. I know that was certainly the case for me. Evelyn and Petie. Petie and Evelyn. Both a host of dozens of questions.
You may be wondering who this Petie is, but that is a mystery better left to the storyteller to unfold. It’s also one of the many things that kept me reading right through until the end. Well, that and the drama, survivalist subplot, and the promise of revenge. It was the perfect storm, in a way.
