Back into the magical library with our friends Paige, Glo, Zell, Moonbeam, Forest, Vee, Sebastian, and Frank as they welcome a new member – Maximilian, or Million. After preparing a hearty meal, they’re off to choose their next adventure.

It seems our group isn’t great at reading the back cover of the book first, and they’re thrown into a cruise ship in Hawaii…what could go wrong? A lot. A lot could go wrong, and it does! They meet a few unsavory characters while they acquaint themselves with the food options and lodgings.

While searching for a murderer they befriend a vampire and a photographer who make their adventure better at every turn. Of course, everyone is a suspect until they can narrow it down, and unfortunately for their new friend, the suspect is a vampire!

Lots of possible leads in this one and they’re all so well explored. I didn’t expect the murder to be who it was but it was really well done and I can’t wait to go on another book club adventure!
