Do you believe in soulmates? What would you do to protect yours, should you be lucky enough to find them? That is a question that will come up again and again throughout this read as the story of two very different couples unravels.

The Soulmate is a gripping read that will leave you both on tenterhooks and with a heavy heart. Tales of lost love and betrayal have always been my weakness, but I tend to get sentimental. So, take my comment with a grain of salt.

Pippa’s choices left me with so many queries, but the ending addressed many of them. However, as with most thrillers, there’s always an element of uncertainty. Pippa is one of those protagonists who can occasionally drive you up the wall. But, on the bright side, this proves how deeply invested you are in her journey.

I want to draw attention to the fact that The Soulmate touches heavily on topics such as suicide and mental health. It’s an integral part of the story, so I recommend considering a different book if it makes you uncomfortable or upset.
