Ohh I loved this one! Ben Noughton left his home town to go to college, and then made it big when he played professional football. He left Gillian back in his hometown. They broke up when he went off to college. She’s been following him, but has never forgiven him for how much he hurt her. He dated around, made a name for himself. Now, he’s retired and he’s coming home, coaching the high school football team. Gillian wants nothing to do with him. Ben is determined to at least be her friend, but he’d like more. Can he win her back?

This is one of the best second chance, single parent, sports, small town romance I have ever read. I absolutely love this duo of authors. The writing keeps you interested and it’s easy to read. They have a way of creating wonderful chemistry between their characters. Gillian and Ben were heart stopping and heartwarming. It was so easy to see why these two belong together.

I especially loved Clayton. These author’s were spot on with the character. I also loved all of the other characters as well. Ben’s family is fantastic. Ben is fantastic – another cinnamon roll MMC that I want to be my boyfriend, haha. I want to live in this small town.

I know this is a series, and I cannot wait to read the next one!
