“Impatient people don’t wait for things to happen. They make them happen.”

This book was better than I could have ever imagined it to be. Amber and Daphne are back in this sequel. Amber is still married to Jackson, who is in prison. Daphne is making a new life for herself and her daughters far away from Jackson, in California. Jackson is still in prison but about to get out. Daphne is forced back to Bishops Harbor so that her girls can reconnect with Jackson, but Jackson has other plans. What comes next is a bunch of schemes and twists that you’ll never see coming.

So that’s where I’ll start. There are tons of schemes and twists. You can’t trust anyone in this novel, and you don’t know how to root for. The book was so well written, and so intelligently written. I mean, where did they even come up with some of these twists/story lines?! I couldn’t put the book down! I just keep reading and reading.

I was so angry that Daphne was forced back, and then had to endure all that she had to endure, even though she knew better. For me, Amber and Jackson were so despicable; I was so disgusted by the both of them. We are introduced to Daisy Ann in this book, and at first I was iffy on her, and wondering how she fit in. Then it was revealed, then I liked her, and then I hated her, and then I liked her! It was so all over the place, but the thing of it is – the authors made me feel s

And the ending.. that was *chef’s kiss* – the absolutely perfect ending!!!! I loved it!!!!
