How is this book 4 of the Foxbrooke series already?  I discovered Evie’s books while she was writing the Kinloch series and now I always look forward to the next one.  There is always comedy for the rom com, steam and some tender moments of growing or healing.  And I should mention that you would definitely enjoy the series in order, the characters are in the same family, but you can pick this one up having not read the rest.

I was a fan of the tropical island setting and the yoga retreat.  Sophia and Issac are great characters and seemed made for each other from the start.  He’s gentle and spiritual and she’s working to get over the trauma of her last relationship.  How they broke up still has me smiling.  How Evie comes up with these scenarios, I’ll never know.  The two have off the charts chemistry and I was rooting for them from the start.  It was obvious he was just what she needed and she could solve his inner dilemma.

This one had Sohpia show a little more vulnerability than the characters in the previous books.  Coupled with the tropical setting, I liked how it felt a little fresh but there were still moments that tied Sophia to home and reminded the series reader of what was going on at Foxbrooke.  There are fewer shenanigans as the most outrageous characters didn’t make the trip, but there are still moments to lighten up the steam and Sophia’s mental health.

Is it too soon for me to dream of reading the next book?  If you are a fan of romance, laughing, and steam, you need to be reading this series.

About the book

Forbidden love has never looked so tempting…

After making a ground-breaking discovery, archaeologist Sophia Hunter-Savage has her work stolen and her heart broken. She needs a safe place to lick her wounds, so retreats to her family home in the village of Foxbrooke. Taking up yoga is the first step on the path to healing and when she meets the teacher, Isaac, things start to look up.

Yoga instructor Isaac Hayward has finally found meaning and purpose in his life by helping others. When Sophia arrives at his class struggling with anxiety, his protective instincts kick in, but the undeniable chemistry sets off alarm bells. He’s taken a vow of chastity and relationships are strictly off-limits.

Not wanting to be tempted off the spiritual path, Isaac runs away to an ashram seeking a return to inner peace. But when Sophia unexpectedly turns up, neither can deny the forbidden attraction.

Can their love last the distance or is this one position they can’t hold for long?

The Love Position is a forbidden love, one bed, steamy, standalone romantic comedy with a shy academic bringing the hottest yoga teacher in the world to his knees… No cheating or cliffhanger, but all the lols, all the feels, and a perfect happy ending guaranteed in this fabulously funny romcom!
