I was given the opportunity to read The Limestone Manor. I read the synopsis of the story and I immediatly agreed to reading the story. This is a mystery and it takes place in St. Mary’s Ontario. It follows a retired police officer who was roped into investigating a murder. He was given a fantastic room to rent from his friend Han, who forgot to tell him there were six other retirees.

It was a fast pace read for me, it was short but also entertaining. The author added in twist and turns that I did not expect along with some humor from the characters. While reading the story it gave a cozy feeling. The story gave detailed descriptions but it was done in a manner that gave the cozy feeling, the details/ descriptions were not explicit. The plot was well written along with lovable characters. I am hoping that the author continues writing books with detective Clifford Shaw
