How much do I love The Guncle? Let me count the ways….
1. Patrick, the main character, is fantastic and his character’s ARC throughout the story is simply wonderful
2. The relationship between Patrick and Sara was so sweet, it makes me wish I had a best friend like that
3. The kids are amazing, sweet, funny and totally lovable. I wanted to hug them so many times
4. The kids call Patrick GUP (Gay Uncle Patrick) — Fabulous!!
5. Patrick’s neighbors are hilarious and sweet
6. I cried several times
7. I laughed out loud several times
8. Steven Rowley’s narration was pretty good towards the beginning of the story and was absolutely spot-on by the end of the story. Did he get better or did I just fall in love? We will never know
9. There are so, so many other reasons that I love this story but I don’t want to spoil this read for you, so I’ll stop gushing now.
