What an amazing conclusion to this series! The pieces all came together and I was so surprised by some of the information revealed at the end. I would never have guessed it, and it was so expertly woven together into this big web of storytelling.

Dannie and Ash continue to live in fear of Nick, since Eric is behind bars, but at least they have each other. Rosa and Marco are navigating life for him sober and reconnecting to family with acceptance. Charlie is determined to see things through on the Anderson case, despite her superior officer basically saying it’s a closed case and there’s nothing more to find.

Everything began to come together in a whirlwind as packages with chess pieces started coming to our characters. Relationships were revealed, and hidden connections uncovered, along with more sinister things as well. I’m so happy to see the end of this resolved in the way it was. So well done!
