This is my first read for Shari Lapena.  The Couple Next Door has been a big success for her and it is on my TBR list.  I found this audiobook and decided to give it a try.

The story starts out focusing on a few different families. Ultimately these different threads are tied together and all make sense as they converge.  The main storyline focuses on Stephanie and Patrick, having just had twins, receiving an unexpected visitor with a surprise reminder of the past.

The first half of the book for me was a little boring. A few big surprises kept me moving forward but the repetition of how tired both of the MC’s were due to their colicky twins was really, really annoying.

The second half of the book moved along quite well.  Again, more unexpected events occurred and the ending was….very satisfying!!

A solid 3-3.5 stars and time well spent.
