This is such a cute and fun story about a little boy who had to poop. Then he didn’t. But then he did. You get the picture.

Poop stories are usually guaranteed to make little ones laugh. And probably a few adults too.

This would be a great read-out-loud book to read to a group of youngsters. I can just imagine 6 or 7 children sitting around in a fit of giggles while listening to the story. Laughter is contagious!

The adult reading this story aloud can appreciate the frustration and patience of the father.

There are a lot of imaginative bystanders in this story too. A pregnant lady with a plate of bacon, moulting flamingos, an older brother who counts steps (I can identify with him), and more.

Great illustrations!

And the moral of the story: poop happens!
