Happy Valentine’s Day.  I’ve put this list of quick reviews together if you are in the mood for some seasonal reading.  Rom coms to warm your heart and make you laugh.  Thanks to Berkley Romance for the advanced copies

I did not see it going there.  I know that probably makes me a little slow considering the name.  But just the same I like when a book takes me by surprise.  I’ve become a fan of the light or cozy fantasy.  And maybe this is one of my first Romantasies?

Key and Lachlan are characters I just naturally rooted for.  I connected and wanted them together from the start.

Enemies to lovers combined with grumpy sunshine kept me wanting more.  And I loved the Scotland setting.

I’m not normally a fan of mythology but it works here.

This is the one to choose if you are looking for a little something different in your rom com.

A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing a Vampire

When opposites attract is mixed with forced proximity, sparks fly.  Again another good choice for a slightly different rom com.  I already know that werewolves and vampires are like oil and water, but they are bound together by a spell they get the chance to really know one another.

Dual POVs make the reader all knowing.  I really like when I get to know what both sides are thinking.  In that will they won’t they moment, I get to see what is holding them back.

Not that I read a lot of fantasy romances, but this is might be one of the most unique ones I’ve read.

This was definitely an enchanting and cozy read.

Pickleballers

These two have great chemistry and I loved the PNW setting.  I thought the author nailed the feeling.

I am such a great fan of tennis, that I was excited to see how pickleball could translate into a rom com.  Loved the pickleball puns.

There were some laugh out loud moments, but I really wished there was a little more touching moments.

It’s a new sport to throw into the sports romance genre.

Her Knight at the Muesum
Bryn Donovan

Seriously this reminded me of Crocodile Dundee crossed with Night at the Museum.  All his I’ve never seen this before in addition to springing to life.

A little bit campy and definitely offbeat.  But I mean that in the best way.

There is great chemistry between the two.  And would you believe me if I mention this is both touching and spicey?  Who knew that combination was a thing?  I liked how much they ended up caring for each other and on the other hand, I loved her spicey dreams that came true.
