This book is from a series called Little People, Big Dreams where the author selects a famous person and writes a brief biography, suitable for a young child. These are picture books. I think this is a wonderful idea for opening up the eyes of a child to the rest of the world.

The Royal Family of England has always been prominent in the news. While I never have made a point of keeping up with everything, I always liked Diana and was sad that her life ended just as she was finding herself.

The story is factual. It uses simple language to give a light overview to Diana’s life. The illustrations are appropriate.

I think many children would be happy with this story about a real princess. There are enough details to satisfy a youngster.
