I’ve always loved wandering the pages of a good short story, Isabelle has created a true treasure with Prickly Pears. Within the pages you will find a collection of stories observing everyday life with parallels of the past, present and future. I particularly enjoyed that each story highlights the authors curiosity and spark for life, it was fascinating to see the world through the authors lens. I thought this was a unique and interesting collection, I really enjoyed: The Jam Jar, 10.30 Appointments and Tempting Gold.

We host a lot of guests and Prickly Pears has earned a spot on the guest room nightstand, I’m looking forward to seeing what others think of this curious collection!
