Pebbles and the Biggest Number was such a cute but educational read for my oldest, who is almost 4. He loves flowers and butterflies, and loves counting! We didn’t finish it all in one sitting, but it was a really good tool for coming back and talking about specific things. Chatting about the science facts was great, and will be even better when they’re a little bit older. The numbers and animals drew both of my kiddos in, but the 2 year old toddled off before we got too far.

I really liked the focus on scientific facts and figures, it’s a great way to introduce them to data early. It’s also a great way to address fact vs fiction and how to tell the difference.
