Feeling stuck or stagnant in your search for purpose and fulfillment? Miles’ book may be a good fit for you. Whether you’re a leader, an inventor, a creative, or a thinker, these principles apply to all. Through actionable mindset and behavior shifts, Miles’ explains small things you can start doing today to invite more passion and inspiration into your life.

Broken down into eighteen meaningful chapters, Miles explains the 12 steps that build the framework to unlocking an intentional life. Utilizing real world examples of celebrities, business owners, CEOs, entrepreneurs and more, he relates the principles to success stories of those around us, drawing attention to the results of the application.

One of my favorite chapters in this book that I found rather impactful is the fourth one, which describes the principle “Mosquito Auditor – Avoid the Most Dangerous Animal on the Planet.” This helps us identify toxicity and work to remove negative influences, replacing them with positive ones and good mentors. In the chapter, Miles details the stories of Thaddeus Bullard and Oprah Winfrey, detailing how they overcame the struggles in their lives to find career success. I found this section to be rather inspiring and admired their resilience and ability to find positive role models despite their individual circumstances.

Overall, this book is a good fit for those who enjoy personal and professional development, particularly those who enjoy books with actionable exercises and/or books that look into successful entrepreneurs or businessmen/women and the habits or mindsets that have helped them.
