If I could give this book infinity stars I would. It has been a long time since I cried so much during and after reading a story. This book… no this masterpiece took my breath away, it broke my heart, then repaired it and it left me wanting more of the story, more of the characters. This story is about a newly turned 18 year old girl named Louisa. Louisa is orphaned and although the world is cruel, she finds happiness in art. One day, she meets someone like her and then the next day she is caring for a painting (that is worth millions) and with a stranger, on her way to the hometown of the individual that created such a painting.

3 friends were the inspiration for this painting, love created the painting. Life was never easy for the friends; however, as long as they had each other they were unstoppable, they were happy. Each one has their stories and scars, but each one loved so hard. There were lots of laughs, tears, and OMG moments. Once you have finished this book, it will always stay with you. The author created a story that takes a hold of you and does not let go. I wish I could forget the story, just to re-read and feel the same way I did when I read it the first time.
