I can’t get enough of authors Piper Rayne! They have another smash it series on their hands. Mr. Heartbreaker is the first in the new The Nest series. Kyleigh’s brother, Conor, is a hockey player. She made a deal with him a long time ago to never date any of his teammates. She starts sleeping with Rowan Landry, her brother’s former teammate and best friend after she meets him at a wedding after she finds out some crappy personal/family news. Once her identity is revealed to Rowan and Conor finds out it’s his sister that Rowan has been with, it creates a rift among everyone.
I love love loved this book! The chemistry between Rowan and Kyleigh leap off the page and it’s more than just the physical chemistry. Though that is HOT HOT HOT! This is one spicy book, so be prepared for that. But I knew from early on that there was something more between these two characters, I could just feel it.
This book had one of the best cast of characters. All of the other hockey players, Kyleigh’s best friend, Bodhi, Conor, Ruby.. each character served an important part to the story. Bodhi is a little boy to one of the other hockey players, and he’s just the cutest character.
If you like sports romance, then this is one that you won’t want to miss!!!
