The fifteenth novel of The Hollows series is here! Million Dollar Demon, written by Kim Harrison, is full of all that Rachel-fueled chaos we’ve all been craving. At least, I know I’ve been craving it.

The powers that be have decided that Cincinnati needs to new master vampire, and we all know how well that is going to go. Rachel Morgan has a habit of getting in the way of master vampires, and this time the new master is gunning for her.

That would be fine, except this master is willing to tear through the city to get to Rachel. Meaning it is officially time for Rachel to step up and protect the city. Again. She’ll just have to find a way to win this fight without compromising her ideals.

Oh man, Million Dollar Demon was everything that I could have ever hoped for – and then some! It was tense and thrilling, full of politics, clever plots, and so many character interactions. I loved every single minute of it.

Personally, I loved reading about the different schemes Rachel had to come up with to deal with the new master vampire, while also really enjoying the chance to see more of the secondary characters do their thing (I adore Jenks). It made for such a delightful read.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Thankfully, the series isn’t concluding, but I did get through Million Dollar Demon very quickly (despite the four hundred-odd pages), and now I’m back to playing the waiting game. As always, I’m sure it will be worth it.
