Whether as a noun, adjective, or verb crescendo means growing in loudness or intensity. The characters in this story were on a whole different level of intensity and adversity. The FMC was gritty and honest while the MMC dealing with grief was healing by being with the FMC. I loved how he adored her curves and everything that a curvy woman endures because of our body shape. The intensity of the tension that the MMC’s world brings to an addict. There is the intensity that the FMC feels for the MMC when she learns of his real past and story, how they learn to heal together after the loss of a friend. How when everyone is together in this newfound family, their personalities clash together like a musical crescendo. It was a tad spicy, but it would not be a crescendo if their love together did not bring them together in that manner as well. The author described the mind of an addict and how their loved ones worry about them in such a way it hurts your heart.

I’ve never been homeless but while reading this I saw a different perspective of how being homeless would be like. It brings people closer together.
