“I would never forgive him for doing this to me. I couldn’t wait until the next time he did it.”

Social media is full of thirst traps, right? It was for Aly when she was scrolling through it and saw a video of a masked man, shirtless, and seemingly pleasuring himself. She leaves comments, likes the videos, but so do thousands of other women. But a drunken text changes everything. Soon her dreams of being chased and dominated by a masked man come true. More than that, they become something she could have never imagined.

I started reading dark romance last year and there are some dark romances that I like, and some that I don’t. I prefer my dark romances to have a plot, a point to the book. So when I first started reading this one, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it because it didn’t seem to have a plot, it seemed to just be about the kink. That’s okay for others (definitely no judgment), it’s just not what I prefer. However, towards the quarter to the middle, a plot started forming and I began to really like the book.

The couple that slays together… yes someone does die. But, it’s the how, the why, and the aftermath that make this book very interesting! I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to give anything away.

Yes, there is a LOT of kinky spice in this book. There’s also a VERY protective MMC. Aly is also a strong FMC, she will kick some butt and take some names. She’s also really caring. Both of them have difficult pasts that they bond over. The underlying storyline between the two, is actually really sweet.
