Okay, so this month brings a big change – for some (if not all) accounts. We can finally get more than three books! BOTM officially launched its four add-ons program. Now you can pick one main book and four add-ons, and I am delighted!
Cat’s Picks:
Ink Blood Sister Scribe – Ink Blood Sister Scribe is a magical debut novel focused on two sisters. They’ve been unfortunate enough to inherit a family secret they must protect. However, it’s not that simple. It never is.
Ohhh! Magical families, secrets, and betrayal? Sign me up! But seriously, I’ve had my eye on Ink Blood Sister Scribe for a while ((thanks to the BOTM predictions groups I’m in), and I was hoping that BOTM would include it. So obviously, I had to nab it.

The Wishing Game – Make a wish. Lucy Hart has spent most of her life alone – figuratively, if not literally. Now she’s lucky enough to be surrounded by a classroom of endearing children. But there’s one who she truly connects to.
I had not heard of The Wishing Game before it appeared on the BOTM selection. That said, it immediately caught my attention. Okay, any book with books on it is going to do that. But I really love the emotional promises this book is offering.

She Started It – She Started It is for all the fans of Lucy Foley and Liane Moriarty. Annabel, Esther, Tanya, and Cleo were all childhood best friends. Now they’ve drifted apart. Unfortunately, their secrets have not gone away as they had hoped. Now it’s all coming to the surface.
As a general rule, I always try to nab the new thrillers BOTM offers each month. So I didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about She Started It, other than to confirm that it had a decent rating on Goodreads. I can’t wait to see what it has to offer!

My Murder – What would you do if you were tasked with solving your own murder? That is the quest Lou must answer. After a strange turn of events, she’s been granted the opportunity to solve her own murder – after the fact. Will she find the killer?
Huh. Blending science fiction and thriller elements? Okay, you have my attention. My Murder is one of the add-on options newly available this month, and it looks really interesting. That said, I can see this one going either way. Can’t wait to find out!
