Nova Fletcher survives a near death experience when she is a teenager, now she is a psychiatrist working in a prison. Notorious motorcycle club leader Wolfe Walker has entered her prison and she is assigned to his case. Nova knows that she cannot fall for an inmate, but the way that he looks at her, the way that he talks to her, and the way that he looks, she can’t help but feel a pull to him. Wolfe asks her one question, and now Nova finds herself in a dangerous world, where she does not know if she belongs…. if she can survive.

I REALLY enjoyed this book! I read it in less than 24 hours. Yes, what was happening with the motorcycle club was interesting and I wanted to know who was behind attacking the club and going after Wolfe, but I’ll be honest, that’s not why I was engrossed in the book. Wolfe and Nova is what kept me glued to this book.

Were these characters a little over the top? Sure – his grand professions to her about his feelings, caring for her, his possessiveness were so constant and repetitive.. but I was here for EVERY moment of it! This an insta-love/lust story, which I don’t normally like. I do wish there was more talking between the two to establish more of a romantic connection between them. But otherwise, I did love these characters together.

I really love the title of this book and what it means – it’s really brilliant.

Please read the trigger warnings before reading this book.
