Are you obsessed with beefy men in kilts? You’re gonna swoon reading Highland Games.

Zoe is ready for her first real adventure. When her uncle passes away, she discovers that he has left her his cabin in the Scottish highlands. Her parents think that she has lost her mind when she quits her safe, well paying job in London and move into the cabin. The cabin with no wi-fi, electricity, or running water…

But it does have a neighbor, Rory, a bear-like man who spends most of his time chopping wood shirtless….and who wants the cabin for himself…

I absolutely adored this steamy romp. It takes more than a kilt to make me fall for a man. I need a little emotional intelligence, maybe a love for animals, maybe a grump paired with sunshine…and this book has all of that and more! I laughed and giggled all through this novel.

When it comes to romances, we all have our favorite tropes, right? Highland Games gives us a little grump & sunshine trope and a splash of enemies to lovers. Our heroine, Zoe, is a firecracker determined to live a life that is all her own. While her superpower is spreadsheets, she dreams of becoming a photographer. Our hero, Rory, is pretty much done with people, and is harboring a secret. A secret that he’s pretty sure will make Zoe lose what little respect she has for him…

Thank you to Evie Alexander for the ARC!
