The third (and I assume final installment) in Austen and Sydney’s story. I always advocate about not needing to read the series, but this is one that I definitely think of as a cohesive group that builds throughout and might not be enjoyed as much as a stand alone. But the author does have a quick recap at the start of the book that helped me remember the details of books one and two.

Their lives are set in different cities, but their friendship continues as they deal with a lawsuit about their song.

I don’t want to go into spoiler mode especially since part of this one caught me off guard. More than once. There are both heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. It embodies the ups and downs of life. Love and friendship. The family you make for yourself and the family you are born with.

These are such great characters that I just wanted to succeed at life. The emotions I felt were all across the spectrum and were ever changing.

I like how this came full circle, in so many ways, and kept me interested in their ending.

I loved the journal entries and that this continues with the choose your own spice level prompts. There is definitely a little spice but prompts to let those that prefer closed door romances a chance to keep over it.

It’s a great slice of life love story that will give you the feels.
