Cat’s Picks:

The Four Winds – Any book written by Kristin Hannah is automatically going to get added to my TBR list. So you can imagine how quickly I added The Four Winds to my BTOM box for this month! It’s a historical fiction novel set during the Depression, and follows one family as they seek to make themselves a better path in life. – Click HERE to read Cat’s review!

Girl A – Girl A is a debut novel by Abigail Dean, and already has a pretty solid rating on Goodreads, both facts being enough to tempt me into grabbing this novel to try. It’s going to be a darker read, as it follows a girl who escaped captivity, only for her and the rest of the family to learn how to cope with what has been done. – Check back on Feb. 26th for Cat’s review!

The Push – Admittedly The Push isn’t one of this month’s five options, but it is an add-on to choose from. It’s a psychological thriller/drama, centered on the expectations and experiences of motherhood. – Check back on Feb. 19th for Cat’s review!

Allyson’s Picks:

Honey Girl – For my BOTM picks, I choose Honey Girl and Girl, Serpent, Thorn. Honey Girl is a Romance story about an extremely responsible girl who suddenly gets married to someone she doesn’t even know in Vegas after a night of drinking. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this book and I was so excited to see it as one of the picks this month! Also, the cover is amazing! – Check back on Feb. 25th for Allyson’s review!

Girl, Serpent, Thorn – Girl, Serpent, Thorn has been on my wishlist for a while and I finally decided to go ahead and grab it. This book was described to me as an original twist on a classic fairytale. Inspired by Persian mythology this book is about a princess who is cursed with being poisonous to the touch. This book just sounds like something I will love!
