Christmas Bliss (Weezie and Bebe Mysteries #4)

I listened to this Audiobook as a Stand-alone Christmas book. It was evident that these characters have past-history but it wasn’t necessary to know for this particular book.
Bebe is pregnant with her first child and is determined not to marry her boyfriend as her first 2 marriages didn’t work out and she doesn’t want to deal with a third failure. This is actually a good thing since she finds out that her 2nd marriage’s divorce was never finalized! Bebe must find out why her 2nd husband didn’t finalize the divorce and decide how she will move forward.

Weezie is just a handful of days away from getting married. Her groom is in NYC fulfilling a guest Chef role at a hot NYC restaurant. When he is photographed out on the town with the restaurant’s beautiful, single, owner, Weezie decides it’s time for her to fly up to NYC and see what’s what.

I found this story to be a little cute, a little Christmasy and a lot of drama. I don’t usually read a lot of girly drama so it was just an OK ready for me. I guess the ‘mystery’ classification is in Bebe’s research of her unfinished 2nd marriage. For chick-lit fans, this is probably a fun read.
