My Review – It is no secret that I will not hesitate to pick up a small-town romance. Of all the niche genres, that is my absolute favorite. The Village Inn of Secret Dreams did not disappoint. Lifelong friends Belle and Pete shared a grief-stricken kiss 3 years ago, just before he left the country and went radio silent on her. And now he’s back–and he has saved her home, The Black Swan Inn. They disagree about everything, from the food to the décor, and they deny their growing attraction to each other. I enjoyed this cozy novel which takes place in the fall and winter. I loved the descriptions of the Inn (especially the fireplaces!) and now I want to move to Cranbridge. 3.5 snowflakes, rounded to 4 ❄️❄️❄️❄️
