When Cecelia learns that Flora and her son are moving away, her wrath escalates, and Flora’s world begins to fall apart.
Meanwhile, Sophie’s life is also crumbling around her. Her marriage is not what it seems, and she is desperate to escape the clutches of the poisonous family she has married into.
Is Flora being tormented or is she losing her mind?
Will Sophie and Flora be forced to leave their husbands in order to survive?
With a mother-in-law like Cecelia, anything is possible…
My Review
Don’t you love it when you pick up a book by a new to you author and you love it? This is the case for me and Save Her. Sophie and Flora are best friends and married to wealthy brothers with a beast of a Mother in Law. The MIL will do just about anything to hold on to her sons.
There were secrets, lies, manipulation, deceit and a dysfunctional family that includes abuse. The book is a roller coaster ride of twists you don’t see coming. I liked that you didn’t know of everyone’s true intentions and this led to some misdirection.
The book moves along at a fast pace with tensions building to the end. I really connected with Flora and felt sorry for her with all the terrible things happening to her.
The book is cleverly written and kept me on my toes. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a suspenseful family drama with twists and turns.
