My Review
What a fun listen. Benjamin Fife was a great narrator and sounded like an old wise wizard reading the tale. The characters were vivid. I really enjoyed the humor in the book, aimed at the older reader and the lesson, for a younger reader. It reminded me a little of the princess bride, does that date me, a fairy tale and I could almost see this as a stage musical. I was thoroughly entertained.
I could see this as a listen/read along for a parent and a child or either enjoying it themselves. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
