My Review
What a book! This book will make you feel all of the emotions, scared, sad, angry, and full of tension and suspense. I love crime thrillers and this one did not disappoint. This book kept me guessing and I was hardly ever right about the direction of the story. I love how fast-paced this story was, I couldn’t put it down because I always wanted to know what would happen next. This is book number 2 in a series but I did not read the first book. However, this book is easy to read as a stand-alone so that is good to know. I do have a feeling though that I am going to be adding the first book to my TBR asap because of how good this one was.

Wendy is a former coroner’s assistant turned crime writer who lives in the UK with her husband and 3 cats.
As well as her two crime series and the YA crime novel – The Girl Who Died – Wendy has several short stories published in UK and US anthologies. She has also been shortlisted and longlisted for various competitions, including the Mslexia Novel Competition.
